Valli's
Story
SEF found Valli at a school for the blind in Purgu. She lost her vision
at the young age of 5 due to smallpox. Corneal transplant surgery
was her only hope.
She was brought to the Sankara Eye Hospital in Coimbatore to undergo
surgery. After a successful surgery, Valli's life changed dramatically.
Today, Valli is in her final year degree pursuing Tamil Literature.
