For the love of the game of cricket and to help SEF achieve its
mission, the members of the Harrisburg Cricket Club (HCC) are engaged in a joint venture with SEF to organize a Charity Cricket Tournament in the central PA region.

The HCC Championship Tournament involves six participating teams with 15 league matches, two semi-final games under lights, and a grand finale under lights, which is expected to have an attendance of over 250 cricket enthusiasts. The tournament
concludes with an awards ceremony on October 2nd 2004, which will be attended by all the playing teams and their families.

With the help of local sponsors, participating team collections, and a raffle collection, the organizers expect to present over $2000 to SEF at the awards ceremony. In addition, the tournament has helped to create awareness about curable blindness and SEF's role and mission to eradicate the disease in India. The legacy of this tournament and the passion for cricket promises a relationship between SEF's exemplary gift of vision, and the generosity and commitment of central PA.
