| On 15th July 2009, the Govt of AP appointed inspection team visited to give recognition to our hospital as a referral centre for all Govt employees in AP. |

This empanelment will pave way for over 75, 000 state govt employees in service and other retired officers to get their eyes checked with us under the TPA mode. The team was headed by Dr. Phani bhushan, Medical Superintendent, Govt Medical College. Dr. AV Rao, Prof & HOD dept of Ophthalmology and Dr. Uday Kumar Associate professor, Guntur Medical College were the other two members. |
The team went around the facilities. Dr. Kiran CMO explained the technical areas of the clinical and surgical work. Mr. Vaidyanathan CEO, Guntur unit formally welcomed them and introduced senior faculty like Dr. VenkatRamanan, Sudhakar, Sairani and Dr. Salim. The progress report was given to them.The team expressed satisfaction and appreciated clean environs, patient care and quality of work. The team was a very happy that Aarogyasri scheme is working very well. The inspection team requested us to professionally support the Govt hospital in eye care. The CEO assured them of all support and requested the team to work closely with us in clinical references, CMEs and other professional support. The recognition is expected any moment from now. This is yet another mile stone in Guntur development thanks to the support and encouragement given by Mission Head Quarters.
