Sankara Eye Hospital (SEH), Anand, one of the cornerstones of eye healthcare in Gujarat, commenced operations in 2008. The hospital was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, in the presence of the Sankaracharya of Kanchi. The outreach program serves the Ahmedabad, Anand, Bharuch, Kheda, and Vadodara districts, among others.

SEH, Anand is a 225-bed facility constructed on 5.5 acres of land on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Highway (NH8). It has an annual free surgery capacity of 25,000.
